Software specification

One Use case diagram is used to define very lightly the requirements for the software. Have a look at the first draft of graphical representation.

Quality matrix is a simple but powerful tool for defining the clients' aims of any product to be build. For Access Road, two quality matrix are tried, even if they have already to be totally updated.

Software analysis

Access Road uses generic conceptual description for catching the fundamentals of access rights, resources and access makers. Analysis models describe the concepts in the access control domain (page : 150 KB). These models are based on class diagrams in UML with OEW.

Software high-level design

The high-level design is limited to the general architecture of the software, which is not completly implemented in the 0.5.0 version.

Software low-level design

The Javadoc documentation describes the API for the public and protected classes, fields and methods.

UML diagrams shows key principles for the generic database design, derived from the access control domain analysis. I suggest to read the analysis before. Caution : your html viewer must accept frames, JavaScript, png images; there is no back up link to return to the documentation. Some diagrams are not synchronized with the Javadoc-style documentation. These diagrams are modeled with StructureBuilder.
