Use cases in UML allow to represente the main scenario of use for the software. The general use case describes the target for Access Road , not its state now. Each use case will be refined in the future.






The Access Road user manages the graphical user interface and the models data.

The Access Road user designs the architecture and the access controls to provide a progressive refinement through design iterations, and to compare different models by the mean of multiple criteria.

The Access Road user models the architecture to have a graphical representation of the information system architecture (access control systems and relations between them), the applicable risks, the access needs and the elementary access rights.

The Access Road user analyzes the access control to figure out the traceability between all the entities in the access control model, and to determine the effective rights for a resource and the data and service streams.

The Access Road user justifies the access control to show the completeness and the effectiveness of the access control, and its compliance to the information system requirements.

The Access Road user learns access control to know the access control functions in components, to understand the contraints in the access control design and to apply a justification approach.
